| A Bit About Me My name is Jamie Delmonico and I started While You're Away Pet Sitting LLC after thirteen years in various office environments. I knew it was time for a change and pet sitting seemed like a perfect fit. I have always been passionate about animals and have been fortunate to share my life with them. For ten years friends and family have trusted me to take care of their homes and their precious companions while they've been away. Over the years many of them have consistently asked me when I was going to make this my career. Well they're all happy to know that I finally listened! The most important thing that I offer my valued clients is peace of mind. Pet sitting is more than just walking the dog or feeding the cats. It's about building relationships and trusting someone to enter into your private space. It's knowing that when you're not there someone is passionately and actively participating in your animal's lives. I promise these things to all of my clients! I have been told by many that I am loving, comfortable to be around (for both clients and their companions!), dependable, and trusted deeply. I have volunteered at both the Cat Adoption Team in Portland and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. I hold a special place in my heart for animals with special needs and have shared my life with many of them. My husband and I live happily with our two lovely cats (Nakita and Kelly) and our beloved pug (Rosie). When I'm not in town caring for your pets, my husband and I are out enjoying Oregon's beauty while backpacking, kayaking, and biking. |
